TSP

Trisodium phosphate has been used by painters for years and years as a heavy duty degreaser and all purpose cleaner. TSP is formulated for removing Grease, soot, and lead paint dust cleanup. A washing of surfaces prior to painting helps insure a good clean "bite" for the finish coats of paint.

1/2 cup per gallon of hot water makes short work of removing grease from driveways and garage floors.

Paint Remover: Most latex paints including milk paint, on furniture can be removed by scrubbing with a strong solution of TSP. After stripping any piece of wood its always a good idea to wash well with TSP to remove the wax that is in most paint removers.

Wood decks and patios should be cleaned with TSP and Oxygen Bleach prior to refinishing so as to remove dirt, mildew, fungus growth and grime. The scrubbing opens up the pores allowing the finish sealers or stain to penetrate deep into the wood.

Around the house TSP is excellent for everyday cleaning chores, 1/4 cup per 2 gallons of water easily removes smudges from painted surfaces, soap scum from ceramic tile and tub enclosures, soot and grime from around fireplaces. Excellent for washing your homes siding, roofs, RV's, Mobile homes and boats

Lawn and Garden: Remove grease and grime from lawn and garden equipment, mixed with oxygen bleach it will make your patio furniture sparkle, mildew and grime on the pool deck, no problem..its uses are endless.

Caution: TSP will darken some wood like redwood and oak but the darkening can be bleached out with Oxygen Bleach or Wood Bleach.
